Originally from Northern Ireland, I took the journey south to UCD, and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2012.
I started as trainee tax adviser with Twomey Moran in July 2012 and qualified as an Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute and became a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2015.
In May 2020 I joined PwC’s Financial Services Tax Department with a focus on Real Estate. I was involved in the project management of large-scale real estate acquisitions and provided advice to both domestic and international clients in the investment fund sector on the efficient structuring of real estate investment.
After a year and half hiatus, I was drawn back to Twomey Moran and back to working in the interesting world of private client tax.
Working in personal tax is always diverse and challenging, making each day different from the last, which keeps my work really interesting. I really enjoy having the opportunity to meet a wide range of clients and develop relationships, Twomey Moran is great for this aspect of personal tax as they take great pride in their relationships with their clients.
Outside of the office, I try to stay fit, playing tag rugby and going to the gym. I have a keen interest in skiing and escape to the Alps at every opportunity, sun holidays are definitely overrated!
