I was formerly a Tax Adviser with Ernst & Young and Bank of Ireland Private Banking. I first met my business partner, Kieran Twomey, in early 2001 when I joined the team at Kennelly & Twomey and I became a director of that firm in 2004.
Kieran and I share a vision of being Ireland’s leading private client tax advisory firm, with a first rate service offering and a commitment to developing long-term relationships with our clients. We formed Twomey Moran in 2010.
All told, I have 20 years experience in the world of tax. My particular remit and area of expertise covers all personal taxes and I enjoy working with the team here in the course of advising professionals, executives and business owners. I focus primarily on structuring and planning transactions.
I am a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and a member (QFA FLIA) of the Life Insurance Association of Ireland. I am a committee member of the Irish Taxation Institute’s Tax Policy and Technical Committee and over the years I have lectured and written extensively on various tax matters.
I live in Galway and Dublin (but am a native Galwegian!) and therefore I claim to understand the Dublin way and the country way!
My hobbies include all things fitness-related – or anything crazy enough to distract me from the day job. I once cycled from Geneva to Monaco for charity!
