I am a Director of Twomey Moran. I am also our Compliance Manager, which means I lead a great team of young tax trainees.
I studied Business and German at the University of Limerick, graduating in May 2001 and joining the old Kennelly & Twomey business as a trainee tax adviser shortly afterwards.
In early 2007, I took a mini sabbatical from tax to enhance my skillset and worked in the property division of a major Irish company, where I was responsible for managing a substantial property portfolio in Russia, Ukraine and Turkey.
I returned to tax in February 2008 and re-joined Kennelly & Twomey/Twomey Moran.
I have worked extensively with private clients in many areas over the last 14 years and have significant experience dealing with Revenue audits and Revenue settlements.
I have a particular interest in advising families on all areas of personal tax and succession planning for the next generation.
In my spare time, I enjoy supporting Man United and I am a long-suffering supporter of Cavan GAA, dreaming of their return (one day) to Croke Park on the third Sunday in September!
