I am an associate director with Twomey Moran and have worked for the firm since 2006.
Back in 1999, I joined Kennelly & Twomey Limited as a trainee and qualified as a tax adviser in 2002. During 2001, I gained experience in trust and company administration while on secondment with the Bank of Nova Scotia in Jersey.
In 2004, after qualifying as a tax adviser with the firm, I followed my passion for travel and headed down under where I worked in the taxation departments of State Street and Multiplex in Sydney, Australia.
When I returned from my travels in 2005, I initially worked with Warren & Partners, but came back on board with Kennelly & Twomey in 2006 and was promoted to Associate Director with Twomey Moran in 2012.
I have over 15 years experience working extensively with high net worth individuals in structuring matters, planning transactions and advising on a range of domestic and international tax issues.
My expertise covers all personal taxes and I have built up substantial experience in private client tax matters for family businesses. I have a particular interest in advising clients on a variety of tax issues including succession planning, the administration of estates and Revenue audits.
On the academic front, I hold an Advanced Diploma in Business Studies from DIT (1999) and a Bachelor of Science (Management) from Trinity College Dublin (1999).
I am also an Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute and have presented on the taxation of Private Client Investments as part of the Irish Taxation Institute CPD Round Up conference.
My interests include sport, music and reading – and of course all things Roscommon!
